B i o g r a p h y

b. 1952  Doug Anderson is a composer, performer and teacher in the greater Boston area.  Mr. Anderson holds a Master of Science degree in Music Technology from Indiana University/Purdue University at Indinapolis, and a Bachelor of Music degree in Composition from the Berklee College of Music. He has studied  piano privately with Madame Margaret Chaloff, Charlie Banacos, and Mari Elizabeth Morgan.

 

Mr. Anderson directs the Regis College Instrumental Ensemble and is a member of the Fine Arts Department of Fontbonne Academy.  In both instutions he teaches, performs and arranges music for his various groups.
 
International venues for these groups include St. Peters Basilica in Rome and other venues in France, Austria, Great Britian, and Switzerland.  United States venues include the White House, multiple Disney events, and performances in Hawaii.
 
Other credits include his album Citiscapes recorded at Van Gelder Studios. Producer for Kermit Driscoll's album Reveille and arranger and conductor for Ann Keneally Ryan's  musical gala, A Taste Of Broadway.
 
He resides in Burlington, MA.
